Location-Based Figurative Work

For those who enjoy the interplay between body and environment. This casting is for those drawn to movement, texture, and the way a figure can transform a space – whether that’s an architectural interior, a quiet woodland path, or a rugged stretch of coastline.

  • No prior experience required
  • Focus on presence, adaptability, and environmental awareness
  • Sessions are respectful, paced, and always safety‑led

This casting is ideal for anyone curious about creating figurative work outside the studio. We’ll explore natural light, architectural lines, environmental textures, and the dynamic relationship between form and setting. These sessions can feel grounded, exploratory, or quietly dramatic depending on the location – always held with professionalism and care. Chaperones are welcome.

This casting welcomes both new and experienced models. Each session adapts to your comfort and confidence:

For newcomers:
We’ll start with simple shapes, gentle direction, and easy movement. You’ll be guided through how to work with natural light, posture, and environmental awareness.

For experienced models:
There’s room for more dynamic posing, expressive movement, and collaborative exploration of how the body interacts with architecture, landscape, or urban space.

Whether you’re new to location work or already comfortable outdoors, the aim is the same: creating images that feel grounded, atmospheric, and connected to place.

Who I’m looking for

Models of UK sizes 6–10 with a smaller frame are a general guideline, but confidence, adaptability, and comfort in varied environments matter most. If you enjoy exploring new spaces, working with natural light, or creating images that blend figure and environment, I’d love to hear from you.
