About me

I’m a fine art photographer based in Scotland, working mainly in sculptural figurative work. My images explore the human form through light and composition, sitting somewhere between vulnerability and strength.

I shoot the nude for two reasons. First, I just love it. The human body is the most rewarding subject I’ve found, endlessly different in line and light. Second, I’m drawn to how hard it is to do it right, logistically, technically and ethically. The harder a shoot is to build, the more discipline it demands – and that discipline is what keeps me coming back.

Every shoot runs on trust. I work closely with models and people new to figurative work, and nothing happens without full consent.

I currently offer:

Fine art prints: limited edition giclée prints from my ongoing projects
Collaborative shoots: open casting for figurative and fine art projects across Scotland
Workshops and guidance: for photographers developing their own figurative work
